is a portrait photographer based in Baku, Azerbaijan. The main theme of her photography is the Individual, self-expressed through portrait photography. With Emin Mathers, she has founded f3.7—a photographers' union. She is using photography as a mirror to reflect on her inner experiences. She has been exhibited at the International Festival of Contemporary Art "Maiden Tower. To Be a Woman" - 2020 and a photography exhibition "A letter", 2021, "Defocused" (2021) organised by F3.7 union. Baku-based photographer Eldar Akberov's work is an exploration of the emotional and spatial layers of life. Beginning his career as an architect, he started his photography practice in 2010 and quickly built respect within the artist community for his sensitivity to his subjects and his unique visual style. His work has been recognized internationally and he has exhibited in the UK, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Austria and the USA. In Baku, he has participated in various exhibitions including a joint show with artist and curator Sabina Shikhlinskaya 'Dacha' at the Museum of Modern Art, where he photographed neglected summer holiday areas on the shores of the Absheron peninsula, and in the group show 'In the Eyes of Bright Fires' at Yarat's ARTIM Project Space, both in 2016. His images of the Absheron shore were used as album artwork for the 2017 Sonospace project of electronic music by Natasha Schiele and Anton Villeneuve entitled 'Listening in the End Times.' Eldar also has a printed book of photography, entitled Déjà Vu (2014). He won the 2015 award for the Photographer of the Year by the Union of Azerbaijani Photographers, and received a shortlisted nomination for conceptual photography in 2016 at the prestigious Kolga Tbilisi Photo festival in Georgia. Abroad, he was recognized for his work at the Festival of Street Photography in Moscow in 2014 and 2016. Most recently, in January 2019 he traveled with the organization Camping Azerbaijan to remote mountain villages in northern Azerbaijan as one of the photographers chosen to document the 'Santa Claus' project, where donated toys were handed out to underprivileged children, concluding with an exhibition of the images at ARTIM Project Space in Baku.

I am Baku (Azerbaijan) based photographer. My greatest interest is portraits of children. These photographs serve as a reminder to look into ourselves and find our inner child. I am fascinated by their frankness. I often use my own children in my photo shoots. I am using Olympus OM-1n as well as Canon EOS 5D in most of my work.

during his last year in interior design bachelor started to practice photography as a more fast and realistic tool to share his visual point of view. From that time photography became an adventure taken to explore the reality of life. Mathers works mostly in conceptual photography to express conclusions about reality and in street photography to observe daily activity of humans.
He is a participant of Global Conversation 2020 United Nation 75, as well as a finalist of London Street Photo Festival 2020, participated in Baku Street Photo Festival. His photographs are in galleries and private collections in Azerbaijan, Russia, Italy, UK, Georgia and USA.
Emin is also working on photography stories with the media platforms and magazines. Practicing photography curation in frames of F3.7 photography union - a platform created in 2020 with Sharaf Naghiyeva. Union represents Azerbaijani photographers and aims for supporting and exhibiting them on the local and international photography scene.

was born in Bratsk (Russia) on April 22, 1999. At the age of 16, she moved to Baku. In July of 2018, she entered the Azerbaijani university of languages choosing to major in translation (Spanish-Russian).
When she was in the 11th grade, her father gave her a camera as a birthday present. With that camera, her career as a photographer started. In 2018, she took second place in the photography competition at the university. In 2019, she participated in the exhibition organized by the ADA. She would take photos of everything: plants, sunsets, friends, strangers, etc.
In 2021, she took part in a project from Salaam Cinema (Cultural center in Azerbaijan), where she told about girls who were sexually abused when they were mere children. Within the framework of this project, the book "Black Diary" was released, and an exhibition was held.

Elshan Baba was born in Guba region, the village of Alpan, Azerbaijan in 1993. The photographer moved to Baku in 2011 due to his education, graduated from the Energy Faculty of the Azerbaijan Technical University and his profession is engineering. As an amateur artist, he drew caricatures for several years, and in 2013 began to take photos, as well as working as a photojournalist for one of the local editorial office.
He is also currently working as an artist and photographer with his father, mother and his girlfriend on a small family business called "Kunc", which they design and sell various flower pots made of concrete.
"I feel that a person is always in search of something. The desire to test everything, to experiment, motivates a person to discover many things. My works, what I do allows me to make a positive difference in people's lives. "
The photos of the "Connection" project were taken in 2015-2017. The connection in the project is based on lines and objects that visually follow and complete each other.

"Wandering"

Photo was taken in the resort village of Anaklia, Georgia. Wandering along the seashore in the distance, my companions and I saw a strange white tower. Coming closer, we saw a picture that reminded me of the aesthetics of Soviet retro futurism: the White Tower, which turned out to be an unfinished cafe, concrete breakwaters on the shore, the spire of the bridge in the background. A girl, looking at the find with interest, dressed in a vintage jacket, completed the picture of science fiction from the times of the USSR.

Started in Baku "Ordinary City" is a project which aims to show every possible corner of each city using different styles, by different artists.
Ordinary city collective is a local collective of non-ordinary photographer friends Mahmud, Yusif and Said. Their love to the photography and passion to explore new, unseen edges of city turned into movement and at some period even an art career. Each person in this collcective has his own unique vision and approach to photography. The project warmly welcomed and got supporters not only from Baku but also from the photographers from all around the world. Operating mostly on social media they made global friendships for the love of photography.
Today their aim is to turn their collective into much bigger movement and build their unique project by holding exhibitions, publishing books, zines, prints, and sharing their personal visions with the world.

was born in Sumgayit in 1994. He graduated from Baku Slavic University with a degree of Journalism. He was awarded as a "Young Photographer of the Year" by the Sumgayit Head Office of Youth and Sport. His works were exhibited as finalists in "IVAF" photo contest in Kolkata, India in 2013, 2015 and 2016. He participated in "Breaking the Ice" group exhibition during the Kolga photo festival in Tbilisi in 2017. In the same year he became a finalist of "Baku Photo" contest. He took part in "On the Road" group exhibition in Izmir in 2020. In that year his photos were published in "In Color" photo book of "Street Sweeper" magazine. Exhibited in "Defocused" Photography exhibition organised by F3.7 union.

Born in 1984, in Baku, Azerbaijan, Tahmina Aliyeva began photographing in 2002 while still a student of the Azerbaijan Academy of Art. Most of her photography work documents the state of environment in her home city of Baku and its surrounding regions. She is currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Was born in Baku in 1995. Finished AUAC in 2016 as an architect, but preferred to change his profession to web developer because of his bigger interest in this field. His photography hobby started in 2019, when he bought his first analog camera - an old soviet rangefinder FED-5 and tried to take pictures on 35mm film. First results came very impressive and he made a decision to continue, trying to experiment with different lenses and films. Now he is shooting mostly street and portraits, trying to find unusual foreshortening, locations and people. As he says: "The magic of analog photography is that you can not see the result immediately. Also, having only maximum of 36 frames per roll gives you a big motivation for thinking about what you are going to shoot before pulling the camera trigger. And chemicals just do the all the rest.". He is proud that community of analog photography grows up annually, attracting much more people during our digital era.

Baku-based photographer Natavan Vahabova has distinguished herself in both commercial and artistic realms. After graduating from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts in Baku, her practice began with graphic design and illustration with a strong focus on photography. A member of the Azerbaijani Union of Photographers since 2004, she is the recipient of various local and international prizes including winning the international 'My Country in the Eastern Partnership' photography competition in 2014. Natavan's artistic practice has been recognized in exhibitions such as the 'Azerbaijan Through the Lens' photography competition at the Pall Mall Gallery in London, UK in 2012 and more recently in Yay Gallery's group exhibition of contemporary photography in Baku in 2018. Her commercial work is highly sought-after and respected – her photography has appeared in Baku, Aile and Passage magazines and she her work was included in the Austrian photo book 'Children.' She has done editorial photography for Azerbaijani jewelry house Resm, interior and lifestyle design company Chelebi, fashion label MMMDN (Ma Mère m'a dit Non)

and winemaker Savalan, among others. She is currently working on a series of portraiture and using photography to explore Azerbaijani social and domestic life.
