Baku Street Photography Festival and F3.7 union invites you to an online meeting with the founder of the Turkuaz Street Collective group Alpkhan Yilmazmaden and with the group's photographers Rasul Guliyev and Tural Rahmanli. The meeting will take place at the NUR ART HOUSE gallery, where Tural Rahmanli's personal exhibition "On My Way" is taking place. Alpkhan Yilmazmaden will talk about the activities of the group, show the work of the participants and present a book that was published for the 8th anniversary of the group in 2020.
About the team
Turkuaz Street Collective was founded in 2012, a group of amateur photography enthusiasts led by Alphan Yilmazmaden. The Founding Manifesto also expresses an approach to photography and a vision: In the chaos of the city in which we live, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, everything falls into place.
The group's goal is to pursue and share moments like these in their unknown and unpredictable. Support each other and improve, take street photography in Turkey and become one of the Turkish street photography oriented.
The collective, which includes 16 amateur photographers from different cities of Turkey and Azerbaijan, held its first exhibition in the Istanbul Club of Photography and Cinema in January 2020. With the participation of 9 participants took part in the Miami Street Photography Festival (MSPF 2020) as a guest in December 2020.
